The challenge
MyHibachiAtHome.com runs on WordPress. On mobile it scored 37 for performance in PageSpeed Insights, held back by heavy plugins, large images, render-blocking scripts and poor caching.
The approach

Theme and CSS
Optimized the theme, removed unused CSS and applied critical CSS for the first screen.

Images
Converted images to WebP and added lazy loading.

JavaScript and fonts
Deferred non-critical JavaScript and improved font loading.

Caching and CDN
Enabled advanced caching and set up a CDN.
The result
The mobile performance score went from 37 (27 November 2025) to 99 (30 November 2025), and Core Web Vitals improved significantly.
